Another Michaelism…

Yesterday I was driving the kids to the doctor’s office for Michael’s yearly “well” checkup. On the way Grace asked if Michael was going to get a shot. I replied that I didn’t believe he was due for a shot, but he will need to get a tetanus booster at some point. She then asked “What is a tennis booster?” I laughed and corrected her, (although I liked the phrase “tennis” booster) and told her it is a shot you get every ten years to help protect against any outside germs you may get if you are injured and there is a break in the skin. Then Michael chimed in and said…

“Grace it is like an invisible armor in your blood.”

I thought that was a pretty damn good analogy for a six year old!
